Studio Safety

FACE COVERINGS

To help slow the spread of COVID-19, KPC Studio STRONGLY encourages universal indoor mask use for all dancers and visitors to the studio, regardless of vaccination status. This is based on guidance from the CDC. All KPC staff members will be required to wear a mask. Masks or facial coverings will be required to be worn by all staff members and students upon arrival to the studio. 

If you forgot to bring your mask, the studio sells KF94 masks for any prospective or students.  

To help control the number of people inside the studio, parents/guardians and other adults dropping off and picking up are will not be allowed inside the building. No observing for any classes and we ask that these adults do not gather and maintain social distance if waiting at KPC lobby.  

Dancers will all enter through the main doors and be screened by our front desk staff upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to enter the studio. 

If a any trainees or instructor is showing COVID symptoms or have come in close contact with someone who has tested positive, they should STAY HOME. See additional information below.  

In the case a trainee or instructor has tested positive for COVID or has come in close contact with someone who has tested positive and cannot attend class, we won’t be able to do a refund but will provide remote education.  

QUARANTINING

Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 must follow the below protocols: 

·       Stay home for five days.

·       If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after five days, you can return to the studio on day six.

·       If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves and you have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications.

·       The same protocols apply for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals testing positive for COVID-19.

If you have been exposed to a COVID-positive individual in your home, we ask you to stay home and monitor symptoms for five days. However, it is recommended that you wear a mask around others for ten days, monitor for symptoms, and be tested for COVID-19 on day five. Unvaccinated individuals who have a household exposure to someone with COVID-19 must follow the below protocols: 

·       Stay home for five days. 

·       If possible, take a COVID-19 test on day five.

·       If you develop symptoms, get tested and continue to stay home.

·       If you have no symptoms after five days, you can return to the studio on day six.

·       Please Note: The above bullets also apply to vaccinated individuals that are eligible for the booster but have not yet received it and those that have not fully completed the initial vaccination process (individuals that have received one of two doses).

If your child is currently out due to COVID-19 isolation or quarantine, please contact the KPC directly. KPC will provide zoom links for those that need to stay home and wish to participate in class.  Please contact KPC administration if you are going to be absent, info.kpopcenter@gmail.com

Studio Safety 

Each studio space will be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned each night.
All major “touch points” will be disinfected including, floors, barres, and door handles. 

Student lounge is only for APP16 trainees and instructors.  Anyone besides APP16 or instructors will not be allowed to use the refrigerator or microwave to store or warm up their snack and dinner items.

All persons within the KPC Studio must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the CDC, state and local authorities regarding travel restrictions and stay-at-home orders. 

We ask to limit any gatherings. This includes before and after dance class inside the studio as well as in the parking lots. 

All studio attendees (dancers and employees) must comply with the entirely of this health statement before entering KPC Studio. 

I have not tested positive for COVID-19, had a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, body ache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or been around anyone with these symptoms (except for medical personnel and first responders), in the last 14 days. I am not currently under a state, county, city, or other stay- at-home order. I understand that it is my responsibility to protect myself from contracting COVID-19 or other infectious diseases while at this event. By entering the KPC studio, I am indicating that I, (1) am in good health, (2) am responsible for protecting myself from COVID-19 or other infectious diseases, and (3) accept all responsibility and agree to hold harmless event operator, studio owners and sanctioning bodies from any damages that occur because of my attendance at the dance studio. 

Stay-at-Home Guidelines 

As part of KPC’s "Return to Studio" plan, we're asking all trainees and staff members participate in a health screener before entering the studio. This is a crucial first step in keeping everyone at KPC community safe and healthy. Trainees and staff members should evaluate their health symptoms daily. If you don’t feel well, please stay home especially if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms.
