IDOL CLASS FAQs

Q. What is the difference between Idol Class and Idol Class Foundation?

A. Idol Class Foundation is a class dedicated to providing foundational training in the style that the instructor specializes in. The class will not have a dedicated choreo every class, but will focus on foundational movements that may include a choreography to help emphasize the movements learned. Idol Class is a class focused more on performance and will focus on learning a choreography over the course of two classes. The choreography will be split into two parts, and will focus on performance elements that the instructors specializes in

Q.How do sessions work?

A. Each session is consistent of 2 classes. Classes are 2 hours in length, so each session consists of a total of 4 hours of instruction. You will have the option to purchase 1 session, 4 sessions, and Unlimited sessions which consist of 2 classes, 8 classes, and unlimited classes. The classes will expire at the end of the instructor period in the month they were purchased.

Q. Is it one choreo per class or per session?

A. Each session for Idol Class will be teaching one choreography over the course of 2 classes. For the Foundation class, the focus will be on the foundational movements, but there may be a designated choreo to assist in the instruction of the class.

Q. How do I register?

A. You can check out our video on how to register to find out exactly how to register for classes!

Q. How do I purchase multiple sessions?

A. Multiple sessions can be purchased as packages from Mindbody, or at the same place you'd purchase a dance class on our website.

Q. Can I mix and match classes?

A. All purchases will allow you to book anywhere from 2 classes to an unlimited number of classes. On Mindbody, it will allow you to mix and match classes between Idol Class and Idol Class Foundation, as well as the different days and times. For example, you can purchase 1 session (2 classes), and sign up for Thursday 7-9pm and Saturday 3-5pm. However, we would recommend taking the classes that are connected within the sessions to receive the best and most beneficial level of training

Q. Is it different than previous system?

A. Yes.. and no. The system is different in the sense that we changed the days of the classes, as well as transitioned away from weekdays and weekends being separate, to them being the same format back to back. However, the instruction will still happen over a 4 week period of time, and you will still be able to purchase 8 classes (4 sessions) like you were able to previously. The kicker is that the price is even less than it was before!

Q. Can I get the same experience that I received in previous Idol Classes?

A. Absolutely! You will still have the same level of exposure to the instructors, same number of classes per week, and same number of hours of instruction. We designed this format to be more accessible, more affordable, and more flexible for all trainees looking to participate in Idol Class!
